Thursdays, August 5, 12, 19 and 26; 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Central)
$20 registration fee

Registration is for the entire series – Participants must attend all sessions to receive credit (6 hours of inservice)

In caring for and teaching young children, early childhood educators and caregivers are in a perfect position to see how children play, learn, speak, act, and move alongside others of their age. At some point, there are likely to be children in your care who are not meeting developmental milestones as expected. You can play an integral role helping them get the help they might need to reach their full potential.

This series of sessions will build educator/caregiver confidence in their understanding of developmental milestones and more importantly, communicating concerns with families. Session topics include: Building Relationships with Families; Preparing for Challenging Conversations; Engaging in Conversations about a Child’s Development; and Taking Action When Concerned.
